Body Sugaring Homecare RequirementsSugaring is a technique employed to remove hair at the root. This process exfoliates and opens the pores each time the skin is sugared. As a result, it is important to remember that sweat and bacteria can irritate the newly sugared skin. After being sugared, we strongly recommend that you avoid going to the gym or any sort of rigorous exercise for 24 hours. We do not want to over-stimulate the skin, which could result in a breakout. Following the suggestions and guidelines below will help assure that your skin will remain as clear and trouble-free as possible in the first day after sugaring and beyond:
Avoid wearing sweaty clothing.
Avoid SPF for 24 hours.
Use SkinCeutical's Epidermal Repair to boost your skin's healing capabilities.
After 24 hours, use our Linen Scrub Mitt combined with a moisturizing Body Wash on a daily basis as sweat and bacteria can irritate the skin.
Body Scrubs, such as Sundari’s Gotu Kola & Walnut Body Exfoliator, should be used once a week all year long.
To avoid the possibility of ingrown hairs, use our Prince Reigns Ingrown Hair Serum
Return for sugaring within 21 to 28 days to achieve optimal results and ask for our Hungarian Apothecary Mud during your treatment for added soothing and healing after the pain of hair removal.
