Men's Body Grooming Details

Our signature treatment offers both newcomers and regular clients body grooming and hair removal as a true spa experience. This three-step treatment combines our sugaring process of hair removal, body hair grooming and the application of products formulated specifically for recovery after the removal of hair—our Hungarian Apothecary Mud and SkinCeutical’s Epidermal Repair Cream. Hair removal can be performed, as per client’s request, on the back, the butt, the perineum and scrotum and, basically, anywhere else on your torso. Our expert therapists will trim and shape your chest hair and pubic hair to achieve a balanced, symmetrical and natural look that can be quite difficult to achieve on your own. This 75-minute service is recommended for all first-timers, especially those new to hair removal. As a prerequisite for the sugaring hair removal, clients should consider our Skin Reconditioning 101 24 to 48 hours prior to the sugaring, especially clients with dry or sun-drenched skin.

We provide our sugaring hair removal and body grooming services at a rate of $2.25 per minute, with a minimum price of $55 for any appointment lasting less than 30 minutes. We will schedule 30-minute, 45-minute, 60-minute, 75-minute and 90-minute appointments for these services with rates as follows:

Two of our therapists, Scott and Shawn, offer body grooming/sugaring at a rate of $2.00 per minute.

Body Sugaring Myths and Facts:
Myth: Sugaring is unsanitary.
Fact: Sugar is a preservative. The high concentration of sugar in our sugaring paste prevents bacteria from breeding as well as cross-contamination. Our system uses maximum sanitation procedures.

Myth: Clients leave the salon sticky.
Fact: Sugar of the Nile Body Sugaring paste contains no resins or chemicals and is water soluble. Any sugaring paste remaining on the skin can simply be washed off. The client leaves feeling clean and smooth.

Myth: Hair will grow back thicker and darker.
Fact: On the contrary, hair will grow back more refined and thinner. Our sugaring technique removes hair from the bulb. When the new hair grows back, it is much finer and lighter in colour.

Myth: Sugaring is a fad.
